This is a Borg Warner 3 speed automaticTransmission that came as original equipment on a 1971series 3 Jaguar XKE. We purchased theXKE as a basket case without an engine and the transmission in the backseat. The XKE with restored using anadapter plate and a GM 700 r4transmission. The Borg Warner transmissionwas left over and is being offered for sale.We do not know the exact condition but it appears to be in workingorder. The inside of the transmission is clean with no sign of metallicparticles. The cars odometer indicated approximately73,000 miles. Included in this sale is the transmission, thebell housing, and the torque converter.all are original parts from the 1971 XKE. These components are being offered in an “asis” condition. The total asking price is $1250 (returns not accepted).
