Thank you for looking / reading / (buying?) - No lame AI description here!This listing is for a rather nice 1972 Topps card #299 of HOF Hank Aaron as you see in the scans.This card has less than stellar corners, less than perfect centering, and the lightest crease ever. (You have to really look for it... it is in the second A of his name and only extends like a half an inch).
But what a great player and what a classic pose! He was at 639 Home Runs at this time and hit his highest home run total of 47 in 1971 at age 37 (that is, if my maths is mathing). Just incredibly consistent and tremendously talented.
1972 was a super year for Topps cards. Just love that wild font for the team names - These cards are absolutely vintage classics!
