Issued for a taping at NBC Studios, 3000 W. Alameda Ave., Burbank, California, in Studio 2. The ticket identifies Group W Productions / Westinghouse Broadcasting Company and lists a 6:15 p.m. show time. The front has a large “EMPLOYEE” stamp, which makes it a little more unusual than a standard audience ticket.
The John Davidson Show was a nationally syndicated daytime talk/variety program produced by Group W. It launched in 1980 and remained in production until 1982; trade coverage reported that Group W ended production in May 1982 because of changing market conditions and rising costs.
