David Wingate — #125, 1987 Fleer (Philadelphia 76ers) — ROOKIE CARD
Grade: MBA 10 GEM MINT
Certification #: 8234290618(verify anytime at mbadiamond.com\'s certification database)
Offered is David Wingate\'s 1987 Fleer rookie card #125, graded a GEM MINT 10 by MBA (Mike Baker Authenticated) and sealed in an MBA holder.
Condition:A 10 from any grading company reflects a card as close to flawless as printing allows — sharp corners, clean centering, and no visible surface wear. Please review the photos and the certification number for your own verification.
About the grader:MBA is a newer, smaller third-party grading and certification service founded in 2020 by longtime grader Mike Baker, distinct from the more widely known PSA, BGS, and SGC. It\'s a legitimate, established certification company, but its population data and resale market are much thinner than the \"Big Three\" — worth knowing for buyers used to shopping PSA or BGS slabs.
About the card:David Wingate was a 6\'5\" guard/forward out of Georgetown, where he won an NCAA championship in 1984 playing alongside Patrick Ewing. Drafted 44th overall by the Philadelphia 76ers in 1986, Wingate went on to a 15-year NBA career with stops at San Antonio, Washington, Charlotte, Seattle, and New York, finishing with over 4,100 career points. This is his rookie card — the back shows only his debut 1986-87 season stats with Philadelphia, confirming it as his first year in the league and first Fleer issue.
