These come as shown without the key and ignition lock to keep cost down since most of these trucks have passive anti theft system (PATS) that is specific to your truck. Meaning your key and PATS unit will be taken from your old column and put on the new one. It does no good to charge you for a key and lock that won’t start your truck. A lot of the parts on your column can be vehicle specific so we sell these as cores as shown. These function perfectly. All new parts and bearings used are genuine Ford except for the shift tube bushings which are Dorman. These are 100% disassembled cleaned and remanufactured using proper grease and thread locker. We do not paint the magnesium cores on these which is proper for these trucks. These are perfect to replace wobbly columns, broken ignition actuators, or columns damaged due to theft. If you can reuse your plastics, and other parts not shown in the photo this would be your most economical way to have a professionally remanufactured steering column in your classic Ford. These have a 1 year parts warranty against defective parts. We are never responsible for any labor cost done by any other shops under any condition. And never responsible for any cost that exceeds the purchase price of the column itself.
