19th Century Royal Bonn Hand Painted Blue Floral & Gold Tapestry Faience Ewer Late 19th century Royal Bonn Tapestry style faience ewer. With hand painted blue flowers with gold highlights. The neck is decorated in green with gold daubs. Burgundy band with gold gilding below the neck and burgundy with gold gilding to the foot rim. Gold gilding to the handle. Has an MA monogram below the spout. Has a blurry mark on the bottom that reads Franz Ant. Mehlem in an arch above a unicorn head. I could not find this Franz Anton Mehlem / Royal Bonn mark listed, but this style and form are usually about 1875 to 1890. Has wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 4 5/8 inches wide x 8 3/4 inches tall.
