These are antique French barbotine (majolica) ceramic dessert plates made by the famous Saint-Clément factory in France. Dating back to the 1920s to 1930s, this specific pattern features highly detailed, embossed, and hand-painted ripe raspberries, green bramble leaves, and delicate white blossoms. Collectors highly prize Saint-Clément pieces from this era for their soft pastel background gradients and intricate Art Nouveau-influenced relief designs.
These plates have some defects. Please keep in mind these plates are about 100-125 years old. Crazing noted and some chips on the bottom ( back) of the plate. These were taken into consideration when pricing. Please look at the photos carefully. Plates are sold “as is”.
