This unique set perfectly highlights two vastly different, highly collectible eras of Goebel’s production history.1. "Joyful" (Mold #53) — Rare Post-WWII EraTrademark: TMK-1 "Crown Mark" with crisp black stamped "Germany" text.Production Window: Post-WWII Allied/US Occupation Era (1946–1949).Details: Depicts a young child sitting and playing a lute/mandolin. Features the classic, softer matte hand-painted finish characteristic of early post-war production.Condition: Excellent vintage condition for its age. Colors remain warm and vibrant. There are minor surface scuff marks on the raw, unglazed base ring from decade-long shelf display and one small chip in the hair as shown in the photos. "Wayside Harmony" (Mold #111/I) — Standard 5" SizeTrademark: TMK-6 "Missing Bee" plain blue printed logo.Production Window: 1979–1991.Details: Depicts a boy in a Tyrolean hat sitting on a wooden fence next to a small blue bird. This is the larger 5-inch standard size variant (indicated by the incised /I suffix next to mold #111). Features the incised original 1938 design copyright date and a hand-written factory painter's mark.Condition: Exceptional condition. The porcelain, glaze, and paint are completely immaculate.
