This is a rare, true first edition copy of "Literary Lapses" by Stephen Leacock, self-published in 1910 by the Gazette Printing Company in Montreal. This is the historically significant volume that launched Leacock's career after commercial publishers turned it down.
Condition: Good/Fair vintage condition. The green cloth boards are structurally sound. There is standard shelf wear, and the paper spine label is chipped (see photos).
