We purchase new sheet material and punch our blanks using punch presses. The "web" or scrap material left over is chopped to make it easier to handle and store and feed into a melting crucible. We are offering here a twenty-pound bag of our scrap brass that will be perfect for someone doing some small casting projects. We show several pictures as the exact thickness and size of the pieces varies depending on what blank we are making at the time and what chopper we use to cut it up. But basically, the pieces are fairly small, making them easy to weight out and handle when preparing to melt.
