Buyer agrees that this item will be considered shipped when the purchase is completed. This gives us notice to remove the engine. It takes an average 3 business days for us to pull out the engine before it will actually be placed on to an outbound freight truck.
This sale is for a used OEM ENGINE or TRANSMISSION that will be pulled from the vehicle shown above. When new vehicles arrive, our experienced staff will run the car to operating temperature to ensure that the engine is running properly. We check for any smoking, leaking or noises. The engine is then drained of oil and placed in our warehouse to be protected from the elements until the time of sale. Once sold, the engine goes through another quality control inspection. Engines shipped out of town are strapped and shrink wrapped to a shipping pallet and sent on a freight truck.
All engines are sold as a long block which includes Oil pan, Block, Heads and Valve Covers. Any other included components are considered convenience items and are not covered by our warranty. You should expect to use your existing intake manifold(s), exhaust manifold(s), sensors, and harness to eliminate complications when installing a used engine.All engines are sold without starter, alternator, steering pump, turbo, supercharger, A/C compressor, Coil packs, distributors, plastic engine covers, throttle bodies and ECU.
ENGINES Base Warranty is for Stock applications only and covers the part invoiced.
Warranty does not include any labor or towing. Engine must be inspected in the vehicle for ANY warranty coverage. Installation Tips and Required procedures are found at Davids Parts in Davie FL (See Warranty). We do not warranty engine accessories such as carbs, water pumps, fuel pumps, injector systems, turbos, or ignitions systems or the labor to transfer them. Timing belts or chains, hoses, seals, spark plugs and gaskets and any sensors must be replaced at the time of installation and are not covered by the warranty.
CUSTOMERS PLEASE Do not run compression tests on our engines. We do not guarantee the amount if compression on any engine or any cylinders. These tests are arbitrary and are not honored by us or this sale. We do guarantee that the engine will run smoothly. WE Guarantee Good condition. No Noise. No Smoke. WE DO NOT CHECK COMPRESSION . We do not honor compression tests. Engine guaranteed to run smooth and quiet.
Our engines and transmissions come with painted and engraved markings for identification purposes. Please do not remove these markings. If they are removed, we will NOT Honor the 90 Day Guarantee. Thank you.
