In commemoration of the lives lost from the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, and February 26, 1993, the Mint is offering special-issue Enduring Liberty Half Dollar coins with a privy mark of “9-11-01” encircled by the phrase “NEVER FORGET.”
These coins were struck at the Philadelphia Mint.
