This book is the detailed report on the Women\'s Conference, held atHotel Waldorf-Astoria in New York City on September 29th, 1932.

The speeches were given by a number of prominent people, including President Herbert Hoover, Col. William Donovan, Mr. Walter Lippmann, Mrs. Ogden Reid, Ms.Fannie Hurst, Dr. Mary E. Woolley, Ms.Virginia Gildersleeve,and numerous others (See Pics). Theydiscussed such subjects as children, art, and the temper of Europe. (This Conference was held just weeks before the 1932 election, when FDR defeated Hoover by a landslide.)
