3 Vtg HC DJ Books Erle Stanley Gardner Perry Mason Fan-Dancers Horse Lame Canary
Here is a group of 3 hardcover mystery novels written by Erle Stanley Gardner that feature Perry Mason. Printed in the U.S.A.
I have placed a ruler in some pictures for size reference. These hardcovers have the original dust jacket.
I fanned through each book. No book is in mint or excellent collectible condition. The hard boards are in good condition and the dust jackets are in fair condition with wear and tear. Each dust jacket has fading, soiling, tears, creases, tanning, spotting. Books have firm bindings, range of tanning inside the covers. Crisp pages - no tip folds. Two books have a name written on a front end page, and one has a 'Damaged' stamp. No musty or smoke odor.
- "The Case Of The Lame Canary": Published by Triangle Books. Copyright 1937. Triangle edition 1947. It has 191 pages. The front end page is stamped 'Damaged", has a name written in ink, and a 59 number written in pencil. The gray and blue hard board cover has light smudges, a light scratch on the front through the title, and the spine ends are bumped. Darker page tanning.
- "The Case Of The Fan-Dancer's Horse": Published by William Morrow & Company. Copyright 1947. It has 178 pages. The back of the dust jacket has "The Detective Book Club". The front end page has a name written in ink. The black hard board cover has red print; shows light surface smudges, rubs, dings; bumped spine ends. Some spotting on the closed page edges.
- "The Case Of The Cautious Coquette": Also includes Two Complete Novelettes. Published by William Morrow & Company. Copyright 1947, 1948, 1949. It has 312 pages. The inner front flap of the dust jacket has "Book Club Edition". No name or writing. The gray hard board cover has red print; shows minor surface wear, light spine end rubs, and has a bumper lower front cover tip.
This lot of books weighs about 2 1/4 lbs together. Shipping weight inside of a box is 3 lbs.
