4 Antique Villeroy & Boch Schramberg Majolica Reticulated Lilac Plates ( 1880s)

Available for purchase is a beautiful, matching set of four (4) late 19th-century antique Victorian Majolica plates.
These pieces were manufactured at the renowned Schramberg factory by Villeroy & Boch, dating precisely between 1883 and 1891.
Each hand-painted plate displays a striking raised-relief motif of four vibrant clusters of blue lilac flowers nestled among rich green leaves. The design sits beautifully against a warm, glossy caramel-brown ground, framed by a gorgeous pierced (reticulated) scalloped rim.
Diameter: Approximately 6.5 inches (official factory size mold 1241 / 9).
Markings: Every plate is clearly stamped on the reverse side with the impressed Villeroy & Boch Schramberg hexagon mark ("VBS"), along with mold number "1241" and size code "9".
Condition:Excellent antique condition with bright glaze and crisp relief detailing. No major cracks, breaks, or structural restorations. As is typical for authentic majolica of this vintage, there are minor factory stilt marks on the undersides from the kiln firing process.
