6 Gorham Sterling Silver FAIRFAX 6 1/8 inch Salad Forks 205.7 grams No Monogram:
$470.00
These six vintage 925 sterling silver individual salad forks are of the elegant Fairfax design made by Gorham. This timeless pattern was designed in 1910 yet is still well-loved, desired, and being manufactured today. There is NO monogram. These 6 1/8-inch forks were part of a wedding gift received in 1952. These durable pieces show normal wear from use. They're still beautiful and have no damage or serious flaws. They have not been professionally polished. Total weight is 205.7 grams. The scale in the photos only goes up to 200 grams, so two stacks of three forks each were weighed, as shown in the photos. This pattern is crisp, simple, luxurious without ostentation, and there doesn't appear to be a consensus pegging it into a particular style such as colonial or Art Deco.
