Beautiful matched set of five vintage Rosenthal porcelain footed egg cups, produced at the Kronach factory in Germany.
Each egg cup is made of Rosenthal\'s warm ivory-colored \"Elfenbein\" porcelain and decorated with delicate multicolor floral sprays and dramatic sweeping gold decoration. Additional gilding accents the rims, stems and pedestal bases.
The undersides bear the green Elfenbein R.C. Rosenthal Kronach-Germany factory mark, along with the number 120.
This Rosenthal Kronach mark is associated with production circa 1938–1952.
Condition: All five egg cups are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Please examine the photographs for the condition of the gold decoration and other signs of age.
Measurements: approximately 2 1/4\" high x 2 1/8\" diameter across the top.
A lovely surviving matched set of five Rosenthal footed egg cups, particularly attractive with their unusual combination of delicate floral decoration and extensive gilding.
