These were my everyday cocktail glasses for years and were meticulously cared for. They remain true showstoppers, just not perfect, and are priced accordingly.

DISHSTORY: (real or imagined)
Once a month the ladies met when the band started at eight and didn't stop until somebody's feet gave out. Each one arrived with her own order already decided, and her own glass to match. The petite one belonged to the lady who nursed a single sidecar all night and still out danced everyone. The tall tapered glass was for the one who ordered a Manhattan like she meant it. Gold catching the light, ice melting slower than anyone's interest in going home. The band played, the floor filled, and every glass on that table earned its wear one glamorous night at a time.
