This is an extra large 560 piece vintage wooden puzzle from the famous jigsaw puzzle makers, STAVE Puzzles of Vermont. The puzzle is in almost new condition as it was only put together a couple of times since 2011, and every piece is accounted for. This handmade puzzle is a gorgeous piece featuring an interpretation of a painting by Damien Elwes depicting the art-filled studio of Pablo Picasso which was located in the Parisian neighborhood of Montmarte. Some of Picasso’s most famous paintings are shown including Les Demoiselles d’Avignon. This stunning puzzle is no longer made by Stave, so it is very rare and hard to find! Great for lovers of art history.
Included with this tricky, dazzling puzzle is a delightful miniature version of the puzzle plus all the tricks a teasers that make Stave puzzles some of the most desired by puzzle aficionados. The shape of the puzzle is irregu;lar and features some decorative flourishes that are sure to delight! As with most Stave puzzles, the box does not come with an image of the finished puzzle- this makes the puzzle especially difficult to solve and thus more fun!
