I have a Blue, Black, and Splash homozygous Roosters in with Blue, Black, and Splash Hens. Silverudd Blues are a rare Swedish breed developed by Martin Silverudd for excellent egg production, hardiness, and efficiency. They are moderately sized birds, with hens averaging around 4–5.5 lbs and roosters 5.5–7 lbs. Hens can produce approximately 200–250 medium to large eggs per year and are especially prized for their gorgeous green to moss/olive-green eggs, often with beautiful speckling. Silverudds are hardy, active, intelligent birds and excellent foragers, making them a wonderful addition to both breeding programs and backyard flocks.Please note: Egg color, shading, speckles, and bloom can vary from day to day.
