Appx. 5 3/4\" x 2\" x 1/2\" Natural Surgical Black Hard XX Fine Arkansas Novaculite Whetstone/Oilstone/Knife Sharpening Stone - This surgical black hard Arkansas stone is found only in and around Hot Springs, Arkansas.
- Made of novaculite, it is the finest natural abrasive stone available.
- This stone is a high quality 2nd and may have minimal imperfections, chips, etc.
- The pictures were taken with a tiny bit of oil on one side to bring out the black.
- The white you see in the stone is an impurity in the novaculite. In this case, the impurity is actually translucent and will in no way affect the sharpening capability.
- This is a really nice, unique stone!
