Vintage Hi-Fashion Microfiber — Black Tropical Safari Print — 60\" Wide

A gorgeous, out-of-print novelty microfiber from Hi-Fashion Fabrics, 2003 — the copyright is printed right on the selvedge (see photos). This is true designer deadstock: when it\'s gone, it\'s gone.

A deep black ground packed with a hand-painted watercolor safari scene — purple hibiscus blossoms, teal elephants, pink and purple spotted giraffes, golden palm fronds, tropical leaves, and soft brushstroke washes in turquoise, coral, and gold, all outlined in fine white script. The black background makes every color pop like stained glass.
