From my personal green water FRESHWATER stock tank - 64 oz / half gallon of healthy, DARK green water. Cultured from aquarium water so also contains infusoria and may contain small number of other microorganisms. I use this for food for my Daphnia and Moina with no SURE TO CHECK OUT MY OTHER LISTINGS FORA FULL GALLON OF GREENWATER AS WELL AS DAPHNIA, VINEGAR EELS, MICROWORMS AND will be shipped USPS Ground Advantage. If you need faster delivery, we do have other listings with FedEx 2-day expedited shipping, though please be aware that FedEx doesn\'t count or deliver on weekends.
I will pull your bottle from my active culture just before shipping for best health. Density will be as pictured - far higher concentration than many - just compare to the practically see-through, lightly tinted cultures other sellers offer.
From this concentration, I am normally able to add 1:1 de-chlorinated or aquarium water and green water and have the entire culture return to full concentration in a couple days. You can certainly add more water at a time, but I prefer to keep a high algae concentration. The less you dilute it each time (percentage of water added), the more successful your culture will be.
Excellent food source for Daphnia and Moina.
Please Note: We started this culture from a chlorella vulgaris culture but it may contain other varieties of algae as well. NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION. This is intended to be used for FRESHWATER aquarium hobbyists. Some people do use this for saltwater aquariums but we have no experience with use in a saltwater so cannot guarantee results.
