Vintage Lee Riders denim jacket from around the early to mid 1970s, made in the USA.I picked this one up because of the great short, boxy fit and unusually clean dark indigo. It has the older black-and-gold Lee labels, SANFORIZED / PATD-153438 Union Made tag, Lee Riders buttons, and the original black cat-eye buttons on the back adjusters.Classic early Lee construction with two rounded chest pockets and no added hand-warmer pockets. It has the proportions I usually look for in an older denim jacket—wide through the chest and noticeably cropped rather than long and narrow.Very good vintage condition, especially considering its age. Light natural fading and a few loose threads around the buttonholes, but no major stains, holes, or repairs that I noticed.No readable size tag. Fits approximately like a modern Large to XL, but please go by the measurements:Pit to pit: approx. 23\"
Back length: approx. 25\"I believe this is from the 101-J family or its transitional period, although the original lot number is not shown on the label.
