I have a garage full of the Rubbermaid Fasttrack rails and wanted more cost effective (and slimmer) hooks to hold heavy tools and tool boxes. I’ve seen some other custom made hooks, but they are too fragile and didn’t have the strength I was looking for. I’m an engineer during the day, so I created these to be strong (but to be honest if a full size adult try’s to hang off them they or the rail will probably break, they are not invincible). The Rubbermaid brand hooks are bulky and expensive. I created these and use them throughout my Fasttrack rail system. For larger tool boxes with wide handles I do use two of these hooks so that the item hangs level and I can grab it right off the hooks because the hooks are at each end rather than in the middle.
These are MADE TO ORDER. I have black ready to ship same day because that is what I use. If you want pretty much ANY CUSTOM COLOR, then message me and I’ll let you know if I can do that color and how long they will take to make (usually no more than 5 days because I need to get the right material for your color, but if I have your color then it could be shipped the next day).
These are 3D printed by me, based in Ohio, so there might be slight imperfections as these are not mass produced in China. With 3D prints sometimes one side is a bit smoother than the other side, for example, but absolutely no impact to functionality. These do lose their strength and can break in extreme heat.
I love these and whenever someone see me them in my garage they ask if I could make some for them, so that’s why I’m sharing them on here and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do! Again, black is ready to ship ASAP and I will happily make custom colors on request!
You are purchasing the hooks only, no rail or other accessories. You need the Rubbermaid Fast Track Rail system for these to snap onto, the rail system is shown in the photos.
