  How to remove theoldcompressor:

  • Open the hood of the vehicle and locate the A/C Compressor.
  • Remove the A/C belt from the A/C Compressor pulley. This may involve loosening the belt tensioner (if it is equipped).
  • Evacuate the A/C system using a refrigerant recovery machine.
  • Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  • Remove the bolt that secures refrigerant lines to the A/C Compressor. Then, inspect the A/C lines for any contamination such as metal or excessive dirt inside them. If any contamination is found, the system will need to be cleaned.
  • Disconnect any electrical connectors from the A/C Compressor.
  • Remove the AC Connections. Remove the A/C Compressor mounting bolts.
  • Remove the A/C Compressor from the vehicle.​

  How to Install an Air Conditioning Compressor:

  Step 1: Preparation: Ensure the vehicle is safely parked and the power supply is disconnected. Gather tessary tools, including wrenches, screwdrivers, and refrigerant recovery equipment.

  Step 2: Refrigerant Recovery: Utilize professional refrigerant recovery equipment to extract and store theigerant from the air conditioning system. This prevents refrigerant leakage into the atmosphere, thereby mitigating environmental pollution.

  Step 3: Removal of the Old Compressor: Disconnect the electrical conors from the compressor and remove the mounting bolts and refrigerant line connections. Exercise caution during line disconnection to avoid damaging the lines, and seal the open lines with plastic bags to preventrant leakage.

  Step 4: Installation of the New Compressor: Inspect the new compressor for physical damage and verify that its model matches the vehicle specifications. Mount the new comprthe original position and secure it with mounting bolts. Reconnect the electrical connectors and refrigerant lines, ensuring proper sealing with new O-rings to prevent refrigerant leakge.

  Step 5: Vacuuming and Refrigerant Charging: Perform a vacuum operation on the air conditioning system to remove air and moisture. Subsequently, charge the system with refrigerant according to t's specified quantity.
