A-Premium Rear Brake Calipers Fits: 03-06 Mini Cooper R50 R53 08 R52 L+R New For Sale

Stop trusting your R53's braking performance to crusty, seized factory calipers. This is a complete Left and Right pair of uninstalled, open-box A-Premium rear brake calipers engineered for the Mini Cooper R50, R53, and R52 chassis. Hard bench data: these feature a zinc-coated cast housing to resist corrosion, precision 34mm single pistons, and fully integrated mechanical parking brake levers with heavy-duty coil return springs. Verified bare weight on the bench is exactly 6 lbs 8.5 oz for the pair. Both the driver (BC763730-C) and passenger sides are structurally flawless with zero fluid contamination. Time to dial in your rear-end stopping power. Keep building.

INSTALLATION & TECH NOTES:

• Always use a proper caliper piston wind-back tool when installing fresh pads. Compressing these twist-style parking brake pistons with a standard C-clamp will permanently destroy the internal ratcheting mechanism.

• Bleed your brake lines starting from the passenger rear (furthest from the master cylinder) and inspect the copper crush washers on your banjo bolts before final torque to prevent micro-leaks.
