Antique 19th-century Chinese Canton chinoiserie lacquer folding chess backgammon board. As you will see from the photos there is some minor damage here and there
so this could either be enjoyed as it is or a nice little light restoration project a sit is mostly just chips to the outer framing and noting major to the playing boards, take a good look for yourself.
I haven’t polished it or cleaned it down as I understand that some buyers prefer to undergo this themselves as part of the process but from what I can see it would come up lovely with a clean to get all the dust out of the nooks and cranny’s.
It has some very interesting detailing all around the whole piece.
