ANTIQUE CANDLE MOLD - RARE SIZE MAKES 6-7 INCH CANDLES - EARLY LIGHTING - AAFA For Sale

This is a nice early antique candle mold in a rare shorter stubby size and a colonial style. It is a bit over 8 inches tall and makes taper candles that are 6-7 inches. Please study the pics for more details and a much better description than I could ever write here. It's fresh to market for you after being in my personal early lighting collection for over 40 years. I found it in New England at an antique show way back when and have also used it to make beeswax and tallow candles for historical reenactment venues. If you're looking for the smaller shorter original antique candle molds you will appreciate this one. It's well made by an early skilled tinsmith and the seams are still tight and intact and it has an interesting very early repair on one side of the bottom base you can see by studying the pics. It displays nicely among your other early lighting collectibles and you can still use it for candle making too.
