A fine antique Chinese blue and white porcelain cover dating to the Qianlong period (1736–1795), Qing Dynasty.
The cover is finely painted in underglaze blue with a traditional Chinese riverside landscape, featuring pavilions, houses, trees, rocks and small boats.
The centre is surmounted by an unusual three-dimensional moulded finial, decorated in underglaze blue with traces of original gilt decoration. The outer edge is finished with a deep blue patterned border.
A very attractive and decorative example of 18th-century Chinese blue and white porcelain.
Date: Qianlong period (1736–1795), Qing Dynasty

Condition: Excellent antique condition with no chips, cracks or restoration found. There is some age-related rubbing and loss to the gilt decoration on the finial. Please see all photographs for full details.
