Very Fine Antique Uhrenfabrik Union Glashütte in Sachsen open-face pocket watch, dating to approximately circa 1910, with movement serial number 78,818.

This is a substantial, large-format pocket watch measuring approximately 60 mm in diameter, housed in a 0.900 silver case.

Watch has a total weight including movement of 139 grams.

The case bears Swiss federal standing-bear silver hallmarks with the “B” assay-office mark for Bienne (Biel), Switzerland. The silver hallmarks appear in multiple locations on the case, including the inner dust cover, outer case cover, and the pendant/neck beneath the crown. The case is additionally stamped “0.900,” confirming the declared silver fineness of 900/1000. Case Serial Number 78818, matching movement serial number.

The watch features a signed white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, outer minute track, blued steel hands, and subsidiary seconds at 6 o\'clock.

The mechanical manual-wind movement is signed Uhrenfabrik Union Glashütte in Sachsen and bears serial number 78,818.
