ARTIST SIGNED - Alfred Mailick - Alpine Mountain Scene 1908 - EMBOSSED & GILDED: Alfred Mailick is an artist who was born in 1869. He is best known as a painter of romanticized impressionistic hunting scenes. He received his education in Dresden, where he painted landscapes in which there was no game. He was called Mailick until 1906, after which he used the fuller name Alfred Moritz Mailick. Mailick\'s son Erik became a knownpainter of realistic - impressionist animal painting (hunting, game). This Divided Back Era postcard, mailed in 1908, is in good condition but there is edge wear.
