As seen on YouTube and commented on on many other sites, Paul Carlson designed a very useful non-contact very high gain electronic probe for investigating just about any kind of electrical signal from audio to RF. The design is well proven and open-sourced.

Aluminum Probe Part List
The following components are used in the Aluminum probe body.
1. Machined aluminum probe body with Delrin End Pieces
2. Machined acetyl PCB carrier
3. Copper adhesive grounding tape
4. 3 #0-80 x 1/8\" RH PCB mounting screws5. 2 #0-80 x 5/16\" FH end-cap screws
6. 1 #4-40 x 1/4\" BH carrier screw
7. Heat shrink tube to optionally insulate the metal probe8. 1\" x 1/4\" HST to protect cable
The AssemblySome soldering and mechanical assembly is required.
