Features an advanced multi-composite shell construction using pre-preg epoxy resin. The shell incorporates carbon fiber, aramid fiber, and fiberglass layers for lightweight yet ultra-protective performance with excellent energy dissipation, radial strength, and penetration resistance.

The inner shell features a multi-density EPS liner with seven pieces in six densities, strategically positioned for optimal impact absorption. The EPS liner is engineered with a dimension specific to each helmet size, matching three different outer shell sizes. The EPS surface is flush and features Alpinestars' low-friction coating designed to mimic the brain's natural cerebrospinal fluid, helping to reduce rotational acceleration of the brain during an oblique impact.

The aerodynamically optimized shell features an integrated spoiler designed to minimize turbulence and drag. Lateral winglets further enhance stability and reduce drag. Collarbone recesses on each side are fitted with two PLASMA inserts designed to offer shock absorption and reduce the risk of injuries during a slide. The helmet delivers ultra-low drag and exceptional high-speed stability, reducing neck strain.

Engineered for exceptional visibility, the Supertech R7 offers 220° peripheral vision and 57° vertical vision, enhanced by an optimized eye port and head position.

Optimized for airflow with a total of 10 ventilation ports: 6 intake ports (3 in the chin guard and 3 on the top of the head) regulated by a slidable top vent mechanism, plus 4 exhaust ports (2 lateral ports on the chin bar and 2 at the rear of the helmet). The entire top vent section is slidable, allowing riders to reveal three air channels for maximum airflow and cooling performance. Incoming air from the chin vents is channeled towards the inner side of the shield to help prevent fogging. Chin Bar Extractor Vents are designed to efficiently extract humid air from inside the helmet.

Fitted with an optical Class 1 shield featuring double-sided anti-scratch treatment. Shield thickness varies from 1.6 mm on the sides to 2.6 mm in the center. Includes pins to attach a Pinlock 120 XLT Max Vision lens (lens included). The visor can be quickly changed or removed using a secure, tool-less quick-release system with pivotal rotation to ensure a complete seal against the helmet's rubber window trim.

A micro-adjustable pad connected to the helmet's inner EPS liner enables an ultra-specific fit setup that adapts to how deeply the rider's head sits in the helmet and how far forward or backward it is tilted. All linings are removable and washable. Cheek pads feature fitted 3D foam with channels to accommodate glasses, an Emergency Release System (ERS), and an integrated hydration tube channel.
