American Flyer 23780 Gabe the Lamplighter.This is the vintage A.C. Gilbert 23780 that was produced in 1958 and 1959. The platform andbase are dark green.
Included are the original button and a scanned copy of the original instructions.
Compatible with S gauge trains includingmodern Lionel American Flyer,vintage A.C. Gilbert American Flyer,American Models, Mike\'s Train House, Scenery Unlimited, S-Helper Services, etc.
Condition:This Gabe the Lamp Lighter Accessory is in very good to excellent condition. The climbing and descending abilities of Gabe are excellent. All lights are working. The button is excellent. There is approximately 12\" of 4 color wire connected to the button and 15\" of 4 color wire connected to the tower. The tower does have some slight bends and minute paint chips and scratches. The house does have some paint chips (see the pictures). I have serviced and tested this towner and it is in excellent working condition (see video). There is a couple of stress marks, scratches, in the base at a screw hole. It is assumed that the unit was screwed down with a bit too much force. Glue residue is visible on the underneath side. The upper platform is excellent. No box. A scanned copy of the instructions is included.
