Rare Ancient Byzantine Lead belt/strap band or knife pommel band, 800-1400 years old.A little more than one inch across, solid, with ornate raised designs. The centuries have flattened out the full shape of the band, but the design is still plainly visible and very elegant.This is a rare find, not many like this with this level of design and detailing.
