Antique 1800s Child Baby Portrait Lot 5 Union Cased Photos Sepia USA Orig
Used
All five cases are intact and functional. Thermoplastic cases show scattered scuffs, small edge chips, and oxidation on metal pins. Leather cases have heavy edge rubbing, exposed board, and worn spines; one holds only an empty brass mat and glass. Smaller leather case has a weak or missing clasp and is secured with added string. Photos display fading, spotting, and surface wear, including loss at the top edge of the seated baby image. Velvet pads and the Littlefield Parsons paper label show discoloration and areas of fabric and paper loss.
