Antique 1876 Crandall’s “John Gilpin’s Ride” Wooden Toy Functional w/Partial Box For Sale

Updated pictures - This functional toy features a hand-painted wooden man in a top hat riding a horse, often designed to fit into a matching stand. The set includes the horse, rider, the original box and 3 wooden stands. The horse measures 11” tall and the man 10” tall. The arms on the rider are movable however they cannot be held in place.

The Instruction poster, printed story and top of the wooden box are not present. The horse rope is very fragile and part of the rope is broken off.
