For your consideration are an exquisite pair of French porcelain Ferdinand Bing & Co. pedestal tazzas. Dating to the 1880s, these elegant serving dishes are beautifully decorated by hand with finely detailed floral motifs in vivid jewel tones on a contrasting black ground, heavy gilt embellishments, and an alabaster colored portrait mask at each corner. Decorative gilded bronze foliate hardware secures the oval shaped bowls to a plinth style parcel gilt base with tamboured corners. The Ferdinand Bing hallmark can be seen on the bottom of each. Obviously well cared for over the past century and a half, they are in very good antique condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, excessive gilt rubbing or loss, prior repairs, or other compromising imperfections found. Wear is commensurate to age and history of use so please regard the photos as they form a descriptive part of the listing.
