Rare and charming 19th-century children’s book by McLoughlin Bros., New York.
Titled Dolly’s Adventures, this die-cut, doll-shaped book follows Dolly in her Red Riding Hood–style adventures, illustrated with McLoughlin’s signature engravings and early chromolithograph color printing.
