Antique Sohmer Pianos Victorian Trade Card – Grunewald Hall New Orleans
Original late 19th-century Sohmer Pianos advertising trade card featuring a beautiful color chromolithograph of a child riding an enormous yellow butterfly surrounded by flowers.
The front reads:
“The Highest Musical Authorities and Critics Prefer the SOHMER Pianos.”
The lower margin is marked “H. Bartsch, Lith., 54 Beekman St., N.Y.”
The reverse carries the important New Orleans dealer advertising:

Good antique condition with age-related wear and a notable corner crease. Card shows light surface rubbing, scattered spotting/soiling, minor edge and corner wear, and general handling wear consistent with age. The lower right corner has a prominent diagonal crease/fold extending into the printed area, with additional corner wear. A lighter diagonal crease is visible near the lower left corner on the reverse. Reverse has light toning/soiling and minor surface wear. Colors remain bright and attractive, and both the Sohmer advertising and L. Grunewald / Grunewald Hall advertising remain clear and legible. Please review all photographs carefully for exact condition.
