Unlike most specimens from this era where the branding has entirely worn away, this glove retains its original stitched cloth manufacturer's patch on the wrist strap. It clearly reads "EDW. K. TRYON CO. PHILA. PA." circling their signature central Keystone graphic.
This mitt is in weathered, authentic antique condition. The upper seam features an open split that provides a wonderful cross-section look, perfectly revealing the dense, original horsehair padding fibers inside.
