A wonderful early 20th-century American history schoolbook with numerous black-and-white illustrations and historical images. The book has a particularly interesting vintage used-schoolbook character, including handwritten names, lessons, notes, pencil marks and children’s writing throughout.
Condition:
* Original brown cloth-covered hardcover
* Binding is in rough condition with significant wear, fraying and deterioration
* Several pages are loose from the binding
* Pages show age-related toning, foxing, staining and edge wear
* Numerous handwritten/pencil markings and drawings throughout
* Some pages have tears and damaged edges
* The final section has additional damage, and I cannot confirm whether any pages are missing
* The book is being sold as-is for its historical/antique appeal and as a restoration or collectible copy
