Beautiful 1920\'s gossamer silk and lace step in/chemise. Trimmed with lovely Cluny lace that gives it such a romantic look, especially on the split and gathered sides, where the lace falls gracefully. There are 3 buttons and loops at the bottom to close it like a step in, or they can be left undone to wear it as a chemise. This gorgeous piece was likely part of a young bride\'s trousseau. It looks as though it was never worn, but must have been carefully and lovingly kept in a drawer or trunk as a special keepsake of her wedding.
