Circa 1930s - 1940s, this antique lighting fixture is a gorgeous find indeed. The highly detailed white enamel geometric fluted glass shade with clear accenting bursting Deco are a wonderful combination. The design is very characteristic of the Art Deco machine age of the time, This unique piece is sure to add a touch of sophistication and originality to your home while providing functional lighting for decades to come.
MEASUREMENTS- approximately 12 1/4” Diameter x 6 1/4” Tall.
CONDITION- The shiny polished metal mounting base is the original as well as the glass components and most of the hardware, one of the screws for a socket mount is a little different and bigger than the others which is most likely a maintenance fix. The ceiling cap also has some ware and tool indentations on the sides of the mounting holes from installations/un-installations over the decades.
The antique glass shade has been professionally cleaned and polished to bring back the original beauty and shine of the original white enameling. There is a very small knick on the top rim and a few scrapes in the enamel scattered throughout the shade, also a very small spot that looks like a possible touch up or a foreign paint dot. The metal finial and finial spacer washer also shine very nice but do have aging/patina from age and use as well.
The very unique bluish green confetti colored sockets are original, the wires are also. The light works very well currently, any electrical upgrades would be to the new owner’s discretion.
NOTE- There are some very tiny natural air bubbles within the glass that form during the making of the glass and is very characteristic of antique glass of this era.

The light is absolutely gorgeous with normal very minor typical age related cosmetic flaws scattered throughout , but overall a beautiful surviving piece of functional art that has stood the test of time and can be enjoyed for decades more to come, Thank you for looking!
