is a beautiful antique Chinese Export blue and white Canton porcelain ginger jar, dating to the 19th Century (Qing Dynasty). This ovoid-form jar is hand-painted in underglaze cobalt blue with a classic, highly stylized Canton river landscape scene featuring a traditional pagoda home, mountains, trees, and small fishing boats on the reverse.The top rim is unglazed and raw, authentic to its historical utility design. The flat, unglazed base features a smooth celadon-tinted wash on the recessed area, showcasing early kiln characteristics such as iron spots, pinpricks, and sand grit inclusions from the wood-firing process.
