These are high-quality, multi-piece foundry productions showcasing exceptional late-19th-century craftsmanship. The ornate outer bodies are composed of solid cast brass featuring intricate, deeply chased relief work highlighting stylized floral rosettes and layered leaf bands. They stand 5 1/4" tall, with the base measuring 2 7/8" across and 1 3/4" across the top of the bobeches.
A standout feature of this pair is the inclusion of the original, matching removable floral bobeches (wax drip pan inserts). One insert removes easily for cleaning, while the other is currently held firmly in place by historic wax residue, which has been left completely undisturbed to preserve the set's antique integrity.
