Antique, miniature, or pocket sized five volume, early 19th century bookset, approaching two hundred years old, bound in early 19th century full vellum and in overall very good condition. Exteriors of the books are overall well intact with toning and soiling or other age, use or shelf wear. Interiors are overall clean and bright with some toning or foxing to the first and last few pages of each volume and with mild and occasional toning, foxing or soiling here and there throughout each volume with pages overall remaining clean and bright. Pages are still sturdy and well intact. Front endpapers of each volume have former 19th century owner’s name label pasted down. Books’ bindings are tight and well intact and the books are complete with all pages present and none coming loose, detached or missing. Books have no odors.
Volume I totals 360 pages, Volume II totals 296 pages, Volume III totals 387 pages, Volume IV totals 294 pages, and Volume V 336 pages. Books together weigh about 3 pounds and measures approximately 6 x 5 x 3 7/8 inches.
