Unique collection of approximately 27 antique and vintage brass, brass-alloy, and metal buckles mounted on a 20” x 11 1/2” rustic weathered barn wood board.
The collection includes a variety of horse harness, saddle, tack, belt,strap, and utility-style buckles in assorted sizes and shapes. Many feature brass frames with iron or steel tongues and show attractive age-related patina, oxidation, surface wear, and discoloration.
The buckles are mounted on an old painted wood board with excellent primitive character, making this an attractive piece of equestrian decor, farmhouse wall art, Americana, or antique hardware display.
Age, makers, and exact original uses of the individual buckles are unknown. No restoration or polishing has been performed. Please examine all photographs carefully as they are an important part of the description.
