Offered for sale is a charming antique cast iron flower basket doorstop featuring a highly detailed arrangement of flowers and foliage displayed within a classic handled pedestal basket. This substantial decorative piece retains its original polychrome-painted finish, with shades of green, yellow, tan, brown, and black highlighting the intricate molded details.
The reverse side is stamped with the casting number 1403. The front displays a beautifully textured floral design with layered blossoms, leaves, seed pods, and an arched carry handle rising above the bouquet. Areas of wear reveal the piece\'s age while adding to its authentic antique 8 3/4\"
